ADMINISTRATIVE CORE
In addition to supporting 3DI as a whole, the Administrative Core offers resources and support to 3DI core and junior investigators, as well as research study staff. With the ultimate goal of eventually providing support throughout the entire grant process start to finish, the Administrative Core currently assists investigators with pre-award activities and hosts a bi-weekly administrative office hour open to both investigators and study staff where we answer questions on various administrative topics.

What can the 3DI Administrative Core do for you?
Support for Research Staff:
- Bi-weekly Open Admin Office Hour
- Answer questions on any and all administrative topics (e.g., REDCap, recruiting, IPAs)
Pre-Award Support:
- Coordinate and schedule mock grant review meetings with 3DI Leadership
- Gather documents from co-investigators, including biosketches, other support pages, and letters of support
- Create budget and budget justification documents
- Provide templates and input on non-science documents
- Review of grant documents (i.e., proofreading and formatting)
- Upload grant documents to eRA Assist
- Ensure all feedback provided by Becky Yu is addressed
Other Offerings and Responsibilities:
- Manuscript Tracking (a new requirement for all investigators)
- Enter accepted manuscripts in PubTracker prior to publication
- Submit published manuscripts in ART
- Assist with tracking impacts in ART
- Publish 3DI’s monthly newsletter, the 3DI Dispatch, where you’ll find important reminders for upcoming grant cycles, updates, opportunities, and more
- Foster community within 3DI via event planning
