Mentor Core Infographic

The 3DI Mentoring and Career Development Core provides resources to support trainees and junior investigators applying for grants and building their academic careers. Dr. Amy Byers and Dr. Beth Cohen lead our Mentoring Core and are available to discuss VA research careers and how to support Jr. Faculty at the San Francisco VA through transitioning to independence.

Services include: 

•    1:1 meetings: Discuss research options, potential mentors, and opportunities for research careers at the VA.
•    Monday 3DI/CHIME Works-In-Progress Seminar: Virtual sessions to provide feedback on research questions, grant ideas/aims, and projects in any stage of development. Please find schedule here: https://chime.ucsf.edu/seminars
•    Grant Workshops: One-hour detailed feedback session with 3DI COIN core leadership.
•    Connection to other 3DI cores and other resources.
